Critical information: If you own a TI graphing calculator then you may legally use a virtual TI graphing calculator for this model calculator.
The Plaz is an excellent site for finding TI-83 ROM Images!
TI 83+ or TI 83+ Silver Edition
Method 1: (Easiest)
Download Virtual TI 2.5 (2.5 seems to work and will give you the ability to save the calculator's state) or Virtual TI 3
Use the TI SDK to get the rom image (The Plaz has directions ) rename it, and put it in the right place.
Unzip Virtual TI and move the .ROM file generated by rom8x into the Virtual TI folder.
Make a shortcut to vti.exe on your desktop, pin it to the Start menu, or add it to your Quick Launch toolbar.
Include the use of the vti in your mathcasts or use it other helpful ways.
Method 2: Using TI-83+ SDK from Texas Instruments (so you must own a TI-83 to use this legally)
Follow the instructions here to Download the Virtual TI-83 plus
Method 3:
Download Virtual TI 2.5 beta by Rusty Wagner: http://www.ticalc.org/archives/files/fileinfo/84/8442.html
